Reitz Memorial Girls’ Track & Field JV left the Varsity Tiger team at home to compete with 7 other city schools and returned with a championship title and 4 meet records (yes four) as Memorial’s reserve team notched 164 points in their win Monday night.
Evansville North was the closest competitor scoring 100 points to earn a 2nd place finish.

Memorial had competitors in only 11 of the 16 events at Central Stadium, but still had first place finisher in six events and 10 personal records (PRs)! The Tigers finished first in the 4×400 Relay and the 100m hurdles, then finished 1st and 2nd in four more events (Discus, 200m, 400m, 300m hurdles).

Highlighted in the featured image are hurdle technician Izzy Vidal and Freshman standout Audrey Weyer who both broke the meet record in a 300 hurdle race that had both Tigers pushing each other to two personal records (PRs) and one meet record in the hurdle event for Weyer (51.07).
