What a GREAT season for the Memorial Lady’s Cross Country team.

The team was led all season by junior Clare Vogel. Her individual talents brought her a runner-up finish in the city / conference meet, a Sectional and Regional Championship, a fourth place at Semi-State and a Memorial second best finish ever at the STATE meet finals with a 28th place out of 208 of the state’s best runners. What a GREAT runner Clare’s has become. Great Job!

Team success depends on FIVE runners scoring, and the tigers were one of the best teams in the state.
Allison Morphew, Addie Schautz, Rachel Delancey, Izzy Haseman, Taylor Gries, and Ally Bennett were all part of the post season success for the TEAM.

These lady’s helped with bringing home the following:

City and Conference Championship
Sectional Championship
Regional Championship
Semi-State 3rd place and ties for highest team finish in school history
State qualifier for 3 years in a row

Thank you to all 30 members of the 2018 Cross Country Team for your commitment, dedication, and support to this team. Those that represented MHS in the post-season, to those that managed, to those that just were there to give support and cheer. THANK YOU!

Special Thanks to our Seniors, Addie Schnautz, Rachel Delancey, Alexis Schroeder, Rosa Gomez, and Laura Shafer.

Congratulations Rachel Delancey for winning the Cross Country Kiwanis Award.
