Congratulations to the Boys Track and Field Team for their strong performances at the City meet this past Thursday and Friday. The Boys are a team made up of 32 athletes, 6 which are seniors, so we have an extremely young and inexperienced team; however, that did not keep us from competing each night.
The boys finished in 4th place with 73 points on a night that did not lack excite.
The Tigers finished with TWO city champions with one being a photo finish of photo finishes. Our 4x100m relay received the baton in 3rd place giving the baton to our anchor Isaac Robertson. Once he received a clean exchange from Caric Johnson, which by the way was his first time running the relay this season, Isaac was off to the races. It was indeed a photo finish. Memorial 44.61, Bosse 44.62, Harrison 44.67. This race would not have ended the way it did without the quick start from Evan Dean, and a strong 2nd leg on the back straight-away from Ray Brodie.
