Memorial Cross Country: Pike Central Invitation, site of the IHSAA regional meet.

The tigers competed well on Saturday, placing both teams in the top 5. The boys finished 4th of 17 and the girls finished 5th of 14 while missing Clare Vogel, who we hope to see on the course this upcoming weekend.

The JV competed after the varsity in more heat on this Saturday, and still ran well. The JV boys finished 3rd and the JV girls finished 2nd.

Leading the boys were Ethan Meunier 4th, Ryan Feller 6th, and Gavin McMinn 12th. Nice Job!

Leading the girls were Anna McCoy 5th, Kate Schadler 8th, Chloe Gonzales 13th, Mia Carter 14th, and Abby Thompson 15th. Nice Job!

In the varsity girls race, Allison Morphew led the girls with a 3rd place overall finish, out of 106 runners.

Alley Bennett 30th, Taylor Gries 37th , Izzy Haseman 39th , Kate Kinkel 56th , and Olivia Anderson 65th, which was our tie breaker to keep us in the top 5 on this day, finishes our varsity roster for this day. Good Job girls!

In the varsity boys race, Andrew Alvey lead the boys with a 10th place overall finish out of 121 runners.

Andrew Golba 14th, Joey Russler 33rd, Sean Thomas 37th, and Jacob Hirsch 39th round out our top 5.

Both Teams are still working on the pieces and look forward to the upcoming races to put it all together.

Saturday, October 5th at Angel Mounds, will be host to our CITY / Conference meet. Boys will race at 9:00 and the girls will race at 9:30.

We will be recognizing our 20 seniors at 7:45 prior to the start of the teams warm-up.

Come out and support both teams, as this will be the last race all runners will line up on the start line together this season.
