Annah Hopkins, Reitz Memorial High School class of 2020, has committed to play Division I soccer for the Western Kentucky University Women’s soccer program.
At Memorial, Annah was a four-year Varsity letter winner with the soccer team, and a three-year Varsity starter. Annah helped the team win a 2A State Championship, two Regional Championships and three Sectional Championships. She earned the honors of Top Team player, first team All-State, first team All-District, first team All-City, second team All-SIAC, and Academic All-State in her Junior year. She earned the honor of Academic All-City for three years, and she is currently on the All American watchlist.
Annah plays travel soccer for Indiana Fire Juniors South, based here in Evansville, and she helped the team win the Indiana State Cup title in their age division once, and finished second three consecutive years. Also, a player for Indiana Fire Juniors and FC Pride out of Indianapolis, she helped the FC Pride team finish second in the North American Cup.
Annah will be studying Pre-Med at Western Kentucky University and is looking forward to playing college soccer for the Lady Topper program and Coach Jason Neidell and his staff.
Annah will sign her National Letter of Intent on Thursday, November 14 at 3:00 PM on the first floor of Reitz Memorial High School (outside of cafeteria). Western Kentucky University is located in Bowling Green, Ky and is a member of Conference USA.
