Multiple Teams · Tiger Grapplers Receive At-Large Bid to IHSWCA State Duals

The Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association has, for the past 4 seasons, conducted a mid-season, classed, dual meet state tournament. Each of the four IHSAA Semi-States qualify one team each from Class A, 2A and 3A. Teams qualify on a point system based on the amount of wrestlers that advance to Regional, Semi-State and State. The next six highest scores, regardless of which Semi-State they feed, also qualify. The coaches then choose 2 At-Large teams who were close to the top 10. The Tigers, with 11 Regional qualifiers and 5 Semi-State qualifiers were chosen for one of the two At-Large berths in Class 2A from among 6 teams!!
The Tigers have competed in three IHSWCA Dual States and placed 2nd in ’13, 7th in ’14 and 6th in ’15.
Congrats Tiger Grapplers!!!!
